Since 2006, Taryn has received more than 100 million views on her comedy videos and vlogs. She has written, produced, acted, and hosted content for her YouTube channel, Cosmopolitan.com, Airbnb, Funny or Die, Heavy.com, Break Media, Fremantle, Relativity Media, Ustream.tv, and more.

Taryn’s first musical YouTube video, “Hott 4 Hill”, won her a Spike TV Guy’s Choice Award, and her videos have since been featured in People, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Redbook, Maxim, USA Today, E! News, CNN, MSNBC, and more.

In 2007, she produced and co-hosted the first ever social media-based TV series, “Project MyWorld” for DirecTV, and the following year, sold a scripted pilot to MTV based on her comedy web series, “Private High Musical.” More recently, she played the recurring role of Allison on the CBS series “Rules of Engagement.”

Aside from her work as an actress, Taryn has hosted series and specials for FOX, CBS, MTV, G4, F/X, Comedy Central, and TVGUIDE. She served as the official pre-show host for The Grammy’s on CBS, The Golden Globes on NBC, and The American Music Awards, as well as the live digital streams of movie premieres such as Sex and The City, Twilight, and Avatar.

Taryn just finished an 8-week stint as host of the official pre-show for “The X Factor” on FOX, a new multi-platform series for MTV, and is currently recording her musical comedy album.
